This was one of the activities in the framework of cooperation and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Algeria.

During the two-day exhibition, painter Nguyen Minh Son introduced many impressive oil paintings about landscapes across Vietnam such as Hoi An ancient town, Ha Long bay, scenery of Bac Bo villages and Hoan Kiem lake.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Pham Quoc Tru emphasized that this was the first time the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture of Algeria had organized an exhibition of a Vietnamese painter

The exhibition aimed to introduce the Vietnamese painting to the Algerian public, especially contemporary painting, thus contributing to further strengthening relations between the two countries.

“I hoped that through my paintings, Algerian people, who want to learn about culture and love art, can understand more about the culture of Vietnam,” shared painter Nguyen Minh Son./.
